Thirsty Thursdays: Whiskey Park

Whiskey Park

Thursday evening drinks in the springtime are a must, rain or shine. And when the weather just doesn’t cut it, I enjoy going to a nice cool air conditioned lounge with the best cocktails New York City has to offer. And this Thursday, I recommend the Trump Parc’s Whiskey Park.

Whiskey Park is centrally located near the cocktail inclined on 59th and Central Park West. Though it might seem a bit far for us east siders, their flirty homemade cocktails are worth the trip. While you won’t be getting any deals with cocktails ranging from $13 – $17, the sleek decor will make you feel like one of the boys, or one incredibly sexy woman if surrounded by the occasional boys club that frequents this lush bachelor pad.

With pages of mouthwatering drinks, it’s tough to choose just one. But since I was craving something sweet and tangy I went with the Grapefruit Martini, with vodka instead of gin.

Whiskey Park's Grapefruit Martini

This fruity and flavorful martini was made with Grey Goose Vodka, Triple Sec, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a touch of basil. Though I didn’t try the other cocktails another one I’d recommend is Whiskey Park’s Guava Sin. This ostentatious pink drink hits you hard with my favorite Herradura Tequila. You can even make it at home with this easy recipe, courtesy of Whiskey Park.

2 oz. Herradura Silver Tequila
1 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Guava Puree/Nectar
